In charge of accounting and finance of corporation, as well as acquiring second and third rounds of capitalization. Paid well and has a small-to-moderate stake in company. Chief EngineerHired by month 0. Todd Montgomery. In charge of the development, verification, testing, and support of RMP and associated tools. Will be hired on half time at first, with the bulk of his income coming from a Student Research Assistantship. Will work full time while continuing work on his Ph.D. at West Virginia University (RMP is his dissertation topic). Paid little, but has large stake in the company. Software EngineerHired by month 1. B.S. or M.S. in C.S. with 2 years Microsoft Windows programming experience. In charge of porting RMP to other platforms, developing tools on top of RMP. Paid $38,000-$42,000/year with performance incentives. Software Verification and Test Engineer Hired by month 1. B.S. or M.S. in C.S. with 3 years experience. In charge of testing the beta test versions of all company software. In charge of formally verifying the correctness of the core RMP algorithms. Paid $45,000-$50,000/year with stock options and possibly good sized raises after 6-12 months. Software Support EngineerHired by month 1. B.S. degree in C.S. Performs documentation of RMP software and support of software to customers and beta testers. Paid $38,000/year, with performance incentives. Administrative Assistant Hired by month 1. No college degree necessary, but with very good computer, english and organizational skills. In charge of typing and editing documents and marketing literature, as well as organizing schedules and meetings. Handles phones. Will play a significant role in the development of software documentation. Head of MarketingHired by month 1. M.B.A. in marketing, 3-5 years experience in a small software company. Optionally, B.S. degree in C.S. In charge of marketing and sales of software directly to large corporations. Must be able to give presentations on RMP to corporations. Paid $40,000-$50,000/year with stock options and possibly good sized raises after 6-12 months. Possibly paid partly by commission. Salesperson/ Marketer Hired by month 6. Similar experience to Head of marketing, but with a B.S. degree, and may hire fresh out of college. Same duties as Head of marketing. Paid $30,000-$35,000/year with commission incentives. Technical Support Engineers One hired by month 6, one by month 12. Undergraduate students (Juniors or Seniors) at 50% time each. Support questions from corporate customers and academic beta testers. Paid $12-$15/hour. May be hired on as full time in seventh or eighth quarters. Two full time employees hired by quarter 7. B.S. in C.S. degree.
